Managing clippings on Android using Clipper (save, edit and share whatever you copy)

Copying of texts is as easy as holding down the text area you wish to copy, select copy and holding down your finger on the blank space you wish to paste, select paste.
However, managing these temporary clippings is what has not been provided for by default on Android.

The memory in which these temporary clippings are stored is called the Clipboard and is programmed to store only one item of clipping at a time. This means that, after you copy a text item and use it, it will be erased the moment another item is copied an therefore not accessible until you recopy that item. It is a very daunting task if you do a lot of copying and pasting, to always have to recopy an item that you have already copied to the clipboard before.

With a tool that can manage your clippings, you can perform operations like
1. saving your clippings for use at anytime
2. viewing your clippings
3. Edit your clippings
4. send what you've clipped directly for use on any application (replaces the 'past' process)

To enjoy the above listed features, a third-party application like 'Clipper' is required. there many applications available on the Google Playstore that can do the same thing as 'Clipper', but I personally love the app because its light, simple and it never fails.

Once you have installed 'Clipper' on your Android device, it runs in the background and logs clippings any time you copy texts on your phone. then from the notification bar, open the app to see all the clippings that have been logged, save them as snippets, edit or share them. the clipper can log as many clipping as you wish (I set mine to log as much as 1000 clippings). You can also create custom tabs in which to save a clipping to: For example, if you create a 'my work' tab, texts that are saved here may include clipping from office docs or email addresses you work with.

Get Clipper from the Playstore

Top Rated Tablets

It's tough to believe the tablet market has exploded as quickly as it has since the first iPad debuted almost four years ago. After all, smartphones, tablets, and laptops all fulfill similar needs, and the feature sets of these devices don't vary wildly. Often it comes down to whether you want to check Facebook, email your pals, or watch Game of thrones  on a 5-, a 7-, or a 13-inch screen.
