Batch freezing: How to freeze more than one app at once

A lot of times the need arises for an application to be stopped from running both in the background and foreground. It is a matter of choice what application you use to meet a need on your smartphone, however, there are a number of apps that have unique features.

You might need to freeze an app if its service(s) interfere with a task you would like to carry out per time. For example, having a task killer when you want to multi-task makes it very difficult, however, you can freeze the task killer app for the period you wish to multi-task. there several other reasons to freeze an app instead of completely uninstalling it.

Batch freezing allows you to freeze a number of selected app at once, it saves time and reduces the number times you will have to click your phone.

To Batch-freeze apps is quite easy.

  • Get any app-managing application- I recommend "MyBackup" because it has got a 2-in-1 feature
  • If the application you got is "MyBackup", then launch it, Select "My Toolbox" here you will see a screen like in the image below
  • You can expand or collapse the "system" and "Non-System apps" tabs
  • Select the apps you wish to freeze and click freeze
  • wait till job is completed

To Unfreeze, go back to the "My Toolbox", check the frozen apps and click unfreeze.

To freeze system apps may require root, and please be careful when dealing with system apps. If an important system app is broken, you may need to re-install a new firmware for your device.

Samsung Galaxy S5 vs. Apple iPhone 5s: Spec Showdown

In what appears to be an unending rivalry between two tech giants,  Samsung and Apple continue their smartphone arms race. The Korean giant's new Galaxy S5 smartphone is poised to take on Cupertino's current champ, the  iphone 5s , as each company tries to leapfrog over the other semiannually. The Galaxy S5 doesn't look too different from the S4, but it sports a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a significant bump up from the S4's 1.9GHz Snapdragon 600.
