Cloud Data BackUp: Why you need to store your files in the Cloud

Cloud backup and alternative backup methods is the ultimate solution to data loss.

I recently shot myself in the leg when I was
either careless or not careful enough while trying out new features on my 4.4.4 custom ROM. I was too engrossed in customizing my smart device that I forgot to perform a full device backup (on my computer). The result and the price payed was a total loss of device data (apps, music, documents, pictures), still counting my losses.

In essence, when you subscribe for cloud backup, there is less tendency of such great and complete loss of data. Once you are connected to the Internet, there is a synchronization of all or selected files or information on your device. In case of such loss, connecting back to your cloud storage account automatically restores lost data.

Cloud backup has the advantage of automatically performing backup even when you forget to initiate a backup. With options of scheduling backup operations at times when device is not in use (like when at work or while you are asleep).

Alternatively, scheduling a device data backup on your computer (requires a client) would help prevent eventual loss of valuable data on your device. This alternative method may require installing some application (like your device's desktop manager) on your computer and requires connection over USB cable/Bluetooth/Wlan.

It is important to remember that data loss is an unavailable phenomenon, however, having a reliable and regular backup is the ultimate solution.

Samsung Galaxy S5 vs. Apple iPhone 5s: Spec Showdown

In what appears to be an unending rivalry between two tech giants,  Samsung and Apple continue their smartphone arms race.
