Nokia X, X+ VS HTC, Gionee,Tecno: Watch As These Phones Go H2H (PART 2)

How The New Nokia Phones Fare Against Rival Products(round 2)

This is a continuation of our previous post where we saw the Nokia X come up against the hugely popular -among Windows phone users- Nokia Lumia 520 (see here..). The Lumia 520 appeared to be better than the Nokia X, except for the fact that they are not running on the same OS platform (which is a whole different topic on its own).

Today, we will have the Nokia X go in a specs battle with the:

VS HTC Desire 200

The Desire 200 is one of HTC's Latest set of low-end smartphones, it was released around

What the Review results show

First off, the above comparison shows Nokia X has a lot to offer as compared to the already established and High-end devices oriented HTC.

Screen size:

The screen size is fast becoming the most important feature a smart phone user cherishes -after all, who wants to play Angry Birds Go with one finger- and therefore, the Nokia X has the right balance of this compared to the HTC desire 200.

Camera:

Nokia X is largely criticized for its poor camera, and it falls short of expectation as the Desire 200 boasts of a better camera resolution. Too bad!

CPU, GPU and Battery:

If you are looking for a fast phone especially to play Games and run fairly heavy application, then Nokia X is the pick. Twice as fast as the HTC Desire 200, its also got a better battery capacity, and it goes for less (you may be saving $10).

In conclusion, the Nokia X is some way better than the HTC Desire 200 and is available for a little less than its rival in this review.

Samsung Galaxy S5 vs. Apple iPhone 5s: Spec Showdown

In what appears to be an unending rivalry between two tech giants,  Samsung and Apple continue their smartphone arms race. The Korean giant's new Galaxy S5 smartphone is poised to take on Cupertino's current champ, the  iphone 5s , as each company tries to leapfrog over the other semiannually. The Galaxy S5 doesn't look too different from the S4, but it sports a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a significant bump up from the S4's 1.9GHz Snapdragon 600. The iPhone 5s's A7 processor is impressive, and we won't know whether the Galaxy S5 will beat it until we benchmark it. The iPhone 5s  generally
