How To Boost Your Android Device's Speed

Making your phone run faster, no app required, no root access needed...works perfectly.

This tutorial is aimed at helping not-so-lucky users of low end devices that are experiencing lag in phone performance, to get some extra speed from their phones.

I should start by saying:
o   This method works fine on my current phone (gionee cntrl V1) with 512mb RAM, and a meager 1 GHz single-core processor. I run a lot of heavy applications on it conveniently. So this should work for you
o   Like I've mentioned early, no root access is required which means you wouldn’t have to bother to root your device if you dint have root access before now.
o   This option has been provided by Android system and is a trusted method that won’t leave you regretting and it is completely automated (doesn't require monitoring or re-executing)

What you need

  1)    A slow android device (definitely required).
  2)    Phone must have DEVELOPER OPTIONS settings (readily available on Android 4+, i.e. ICS above).
  3)    That’s all you need (cool!)

Procedure

1.     Goto: Android settings on your device,

2.     Find: DEVELOPER OPTIONS
see below screenshot

3.     Under the "APPS" tab, check the "Don't keep activities" option

4.     Then, under the "BACKGROUND PROCESSES LIMIT", select "1 or 2 processes"

5.     Exit SETTINGS and begin to enjoy better usage experience.

Samsung Galaxy S5 vs. Apple iPhone 5s: Spec Showdown

In what appears to be an unending rivalry between two tech giants,  Samsung and Apple continue their smartphone arms race. The Korean giant's new Galaxy S5 smartphone is poised to take on Cupertino's current champ, the  iphone 5s , as each company tries to leapfrog over the other semiannually. The Galaxy S5 doesn't look too different from the S4, but it sports a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a significant bump up from the S4's 1.9GHz Snapdragon 600. The iPhone 5s's A7 processor is impressive, and we won't know whether the Galaxy S5 will beat it until we benchmark it. The iPhone 5s  generally
