Innjoo Leap Windows 8.1 Tablet (Why you should get one)

My Experience and Review

There are already too many product-specification reviews on this device all over the web, I just thought I should share my view and experience with people all over that may be considering getting it as a mobile PC.

If you are here then you must have heard about Tablet PCs

They are very portable smart devices that run almost a
full computer OS (most commonly Windows), they have screen sizes ranging from 7 inches to 11 inches, usually come with built-in batteries, blah blah blah.

Price

To start with, the Innjoo Leap is a very pocket-friendly tablet PC, I got it for less than 100 USD.

First impression

I must confess that apart from the solid and quality look of the Innjoo leap tab, it feels just as solid judging my its price. Majority of the material is plastic, but it still has a metallic feel to it.

Design

There is obviously no innovative thing to the design of this particular device, however the manufacturer made no mistake in carving out the edges and surfaces save for very unnoticeable bends at the edges of the screen. The cameras are well placed, hard buttons for locking/power and volume control look like they are positioned on the under side of the device because the tablet is very slim. At the portrait top of the tab are the ports (USB, HDMI, sound jack, Memory slot) and a mic. It has got dual speakers down on the under-side of the device.

Usage and Functionality

The Innjoo Leap runs on Windows 8.1 OS and is powered by Intel processors and 1 Gb of RAM, I find it very easy working on this device because it has got Microsoft office package which works unbelievably smooth. I have installed lots of my favorite applications (Chrome, Torrent downloader, Currency converter, etc.) and never have they encountered problems while running.

I am yet to learn how to take screen snapshots using shortcut keys on this device, but the classic 'printscreen' key works just fine.
I always connect with my Android phone's Hotspot network as there is no standard wifi network around my house.

The most impressive thing about the Innjoo Leap device is the fact that I can stay connected to the internet and be busy with work for 7 straight hours without thinking of recharging my PC. This is very helpful when you are away from home maybe on a business trip or just outdoor but need to quickly research and post on your blog or something. I don't watch videos or listen to music on my Leap PC, (that's what my phone is for), so can't tell how long it will take to discharge just watching movies on your leap tablet.

CONCLUSION

I wouldn't say the Innjoo Leap is the best tablet PC out there, but what I can guarantee is that this is the best in its price range (very few in the price range anyway).

So if you need a PC that you can take with you anywhere you go but have limitation in terms of cash/cheque, then don't be afraid to give the Innjoo Leap a try, it won't disappoint you any bit.

Samsung Galaxy S5 vs. Apple iPhone 5s: Spec Showdown

In what appears to be an unending rivalry between two tech giants,  Samsung and Apple continue their smartphone arms race. The Korean giant's new Galaxy S5 smartphone is poised to take on Cupertino's current champ, the  iphone 5s , as each company tries to leapfrog over the other semiannually. The Galaxy S5 doesn't look too different from the S4, but it sports a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a significant bump up from the S4's 1.9GHz Snapdragon 600. The iPhone 5s's A7 processor is impressive, and we won't know whether the Galaxy S5 will beat it until we benchmark it. The iPhone 5s  generally
